Very well known cafe in Richmond! Happily accommodating our walk in group on 4 wanting brunch.
Delicious menu as you can see which made it so difficult to choose from!
We order the French toast, omelette and chilli scrambled eggs - each meal was delicious and very well portioned. The omelettes were stuffed!
We also got some smoothies and juices - delicious also.
Nice place with great menu. Had a simple bacon and eggs on toast and the eggs were poached perfectly.
Bacon also tasted quite high grade and wasn't super fatty.
Only thing I missed was the croissants. Didnt see them on the menu and only realise they have them as we were leaving and saw the in the reception display. Next time!
Friends of mine is a beautiful cafe with a warm cosy feel with a large space inside to get comfortable. Service here is friendly and quick. Coffee is on point and the menu has great breakfast and lunch options along with a good takeaway and treats cabinet at the front. Flavours are popping, good serving sizes and small twists on some classic dishes. A good cafe for an easy way and food coffee
Walking in, we were made to feel right at home.
Lovely friendly welcoming service.
Starting w fresh orange juice, which was great.
Chilli scrambled for me, a big serving and absolutely delicious. Wow!
My partner had shakshuka, which was really tasty. The eggs were maybe a little overcooked but still good.
We ordered some extra toast to soak up the sauce, which was perfect.
Nothing left at the end, which is always a good sign.
Overall, this was a memorable experience, and I'll definitely be going back.
This place has such a cosy homely vibe for a little local cafe. Very well decorated with a lot of beautiful accent pieces and a large array of food and drink options available. Perfect for any and all meals and a great place for a morning coffee on the way to work. The atmosphere is chill making it an ideal, family friendly cafe in a prime location. Staff are very welcoming and seem lovely, as well as willing to take care of anything you may need during your time at the venue.
I got a chocolate thick shake and as I waited was very tempted to just stick around longer and eat after seeing all the meals being brought out to other customers.
Overall it’s a very nice space with a lot of character, bigger then you’d expect from the outside, and super easy to get to. I would recommend people come check it out for themselves and drop in for a coffee or a bite to eat and I’ll certainly be returning with friends and family if given the chance.
This place used to be good but it's gone downhill rapidly - are there new owners?! The service was excruciatingly bad; from our coffee's to our meals, there was an issue. When we went to pay, the owner asked us how everything was, so we gave honest feedback; he then acted like a complete smart alec! Mocking us at the top of his lungs, it was bizarre behaviour. We did receive $20 off the bill but not without a performance! (this worked out to be the 20% public holiday surcharge)
Nice brunch place, friendly staff and solid food. Their cheese toast is delicious. And their miso salmon is pretty good too.
Absolutely shocking place, food was slimy and tasted wrong and the coffee was very average. One star is for the wonderful staff. We ended up giving feedback to the owner and we were met with absolute putrid arrogance and ignorance. He mentioned we had eaten the food insinuating that we enjoyed it, when in actuality we left at least half of it and ate the bread.
